In the blink of an eye, Kiamran Nabati has rapidly carved out his name among the elite strikers in the world today.
Born in Buynaksk, Dagestan, Nabati first trained in wrestling as a child before switching to Muay Thai at the age of 10. He later relocated to Makhachkala, where he honed his craft under the guidance of Abdulnasyr Medzhidov and began collecting gold medals in both domestic and international tournaments.
As the standout athlete on the Russian national team, he amassed a staggering 200-fight amateur career – a volume of experience few strikers anywhere can match – before turning professional in 2015.
Nabati’s ascent only continued in the paid ranks. In 2022, he captured the title in Russia’s biggest striking organization, cementing his status as one of the country’s finest. He would even mentor future ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Asadula Imangazaliev.
However, he had an even bigger dream.
The Dagestani striker had set his sights on ONE Championship as far back as 2018, when he first saw Muay Thai showcased on the global stage, and he spent years working toward a shot at the sport’s biggest platform.
That dream became reality in September 2023, when the Russian powerhouse made his highly anticipated debut on the weekly ONE Friday Fights series at a perfect 16-0. There, he delivered a masterful performance against former four-time Muay Thai World Champion Pongsiri PK Saenchai.
Nabati never looked back. Statement wins over Pongsiri, Avatar PK Saenchai, and a knockout of Suablack Tor Pran49 earned him a life-changing six-figure ONE Championship contract in June 2024. He then announced himself as one of the division’s premier threats with a dominant victory over the legendary Nong-O.
Away from the ring, Nabati’s story is just as remarkable. A graduate of Dagestan State Medical Academy, he worked as a dentist for a year before walking away from the profession to pursue martial arts full-time — a decision he says came from following his heart.
Now firmly established among the bantamweight division’s most dangerous Muay Thai strikers, Nabati continues his charge toward the top, with his eyes fixed on World Title gold.
