The ONE Championship mobile application (“ONE App”) is operated by ONE Championship. In this Privacy Policy references to “we”, “us”, “our”, are references to ONE Championship.

We take the privacy of all of our users seriously.

This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) outlines how we treat your personal information and forms part of the terms and conditions of the ONE App. This Privacy Policy applies only to the ONE App, and not to the collection and use of personal information by any third party via any website to which there are links on the ONE App. We are not responsible for the privacy policies of other websites, and encourage you to be aware when you leave the ONE App, and to read all applicable terms, conditions and privacy policies when using other websites.

Consent

Your use of the ONE App signifies your consent to our collecting and using personal information about you in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We hope that you will enjoy using the ONE App and the content and services we offer. However, if you do not wish that your personal information to be used in the ways outlined below, please do not proceed with the use of the ONE App.

What information do we collect?

You may access the ONE App’s home page and browse the ONE App without disclosing any personal data. In order to provide you with a range of services, however, we may collect personal information from the ONE App, from information submitted to us and from other communications.

We may collect and process the following data about you:

  • Information you give us. You may give us information about you by filling in forms on the ONE App or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. This includes information you provide when you register to use our site, subscribe to any service, enter a competition, promotion or survey and when you report a problem with the ONE App. The information you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address and phone number, and preferences.
  • Information we collect about you. With regard to each of your visits to the ONE App we may automatically collect the following information:
    • technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, your login information, screen resolution details, time zone setting, mobile and network information, operating system and platform; and
    • information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from the ONE App (including date and time); athletes and events you viewed or searched for; page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page and any phone number used to call our customer service number.

How do we use your information?

Any personal data relating to you will be used and recorded by us in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and this Privacy Policy. We may use your personal information to communicate with you, such as to let you know about new features or offerings on the ONE App, for record keeping purposes, and in aggregate (and therefore anonymously) for market research purposes, to track activity on our site, to publish trends and/or to improve usefulness and content and for any other purpose that we may notify to you and the relevant data protection authority from time to time.

We reserve the right to disclose your personal information in the following circumstances:

  1. to anyone who may take over the running of the ONE App or subcontractors who operate a part of the ONE App on our behalf. Any other organisations who access your information in the course of providing services on our behalf will be governed by strict contractual restrictions to make sure that they protect your information and keep to data-protection and privacy laws which apply. We may also independently audit these service providers to make sure that they meet our standards;
  2. to any law enforcement agency requesting it once we are reasonably satisfied as to the circumstances surrounding the request;
  3. or in order to enforce or apply our terms of use Terms & Conditions or terms and conditions of supply of goods or services and other agreements; or to protect our rights, property, or safety, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
  4. to comply with applicable laws and lawful government requests; and
  5. to operate our systems properly or to protect our users and ourselves.

Except as expressly stated in this Privacy Policy, we will not sell, share, trade or license your personal information to others without your express consent.

How do we use your  information?

  • to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us and to provide you with the content and services that you request from us;
  • to provide you with information about other content we offer that are similar to those that you have already viewed;

  • to ensure that content on the ONE App is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your device or to personalise your experience of the ONE App in accordance with your choices.

Information we collect about you. We will use this information:

  • to administer the ONE App and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes;
  • to improve the ONE App to ensure that content is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your device;
  • to allow you to participate in interactive features of our service, when you choose to do so;
  • as part of our efforts to keep the ONE App safe and secure;
  • to measure or understand the effectiveness of advertising we serve to you and others, and to deliver relevant advertising to you;
  • to make suggestions and recommendations to you and other users of the ONE App about content or services that may interest you or them.

Is your information secure?

We have strict security protocols in place to protect our customer data from unauthorised access, improper use or disclosure, unauthorised modification, and unlawful destruction or accidental loss. We only allow access to our customer databases when necessary, and then under strict guidelines as to what use may be made of such details. We may ask you for proof of identity before disclosing any personal information to you.

How to access your information?

Applicable legislation may give you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with applicable legislation. Any access request may be subject to a fee to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.

How may this Privacy Policy change?

Any changes we may make to this Privacy Policy in the future will be posted on this page. We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. Please check back frequently to see any updates or changes to this Privacy Policy.

How to delete your personal data? (Protection of personal data)

To safeguard your personal data from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks, we have introduced appropriate administrative, physical and technical measures such as up-to-date antivirus protection, encryption, use of privacy filters, and disclosing personal data both internally and to our authorised third party service providers and agents only on a need-to-know basis, and other measures introduced from time to time as appropriate.

Under applicable jurisdictions, you may have the right to ask us to delete personal data about you if it no longer is required for the purpose it was collected, you have withdrawn your consent, you have a valid objection to us using your personal information, or our use of your personal information is contrary to law or our other legal obligations. Upon request, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to honor your request for deletion. Please note that the rights described above may be limited, for example, if you ask us to delete information we are required by law to keep or have compelling legitimate interests in keeping (such as for fraud prevention purposes).

What governing law applies to this Privacy Policy?

This Privacy Policy is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with Singapore law including without limitation the provisions of the Evidence Act (Chapter 97), Electronic Transactions Act (Cap. 88) and the Personal Data Protection Act (2012), without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.  You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
