ONE Women’s Strawweight World Champion “The Panda” Xiong Jing Nan (16-1) could not have been more impressive in her promotional debut when she faced April Osenio at ONE: WARRIORS OF THE WORLD in December 2017.

The Chinese hero was aggressive in the opening moments, pressing forward with the kind of power punches she has become famous for.

Although Osenio took Xiong to the mat, this bout would not escape the first round.

After getting back to her feet, “The Panda” unleashed a maelstrom of punches, including a right hook that put the Filipina on the canvas. The Beijing native followed up with a few more ground punches, which forced the referee to wave off the contest.

Xiong will attempt to successfully defend her title against ONE Women’s Atomweight World Champion “Unstoppable” Angela Lee (9-0) in the ONE: HEART OF THE LION main event.

ONE Interim Bantamweight World Champion Kevin “The Silencer” Belingon (19-5) has proven time and time again that he is capable of delivering highlight-reel knockouts at any moment.

One of the most impressive knockout victories on the Filipino’s ledger occurred at ONE: HEROES OF HONOR in April.

Belingon had put on a dominant performance in the first round, and early in the second, he put a stamp on it. A spinning back kick landed flush to Leone’s midsection and sent him skidding across the canvas.

“The Silencer” gave chase and began to work towards the finish with a barrage of punches and elbows. The American hung on, but when knees started being thrown towards his head, referee Olivier Coste had no choice but to stop the bout at 1:27 of round two.

He will look for a similarly impressive victory in the co-main event of ONE: HEART OF THE LION, this time against long-time ONE Bantamweight World Champion Bibiano “The Flash” Fernandes (22-3).

At ONE: BATTLE FOR THE HEAVENS in July, Japanese judo specialist Shuya “Stealth” Kamikubo (8-1-1) announced his arrival to the world’s largest martial arts organization in the loudest way possible – by ending the winning streak of “The Terminator” Sunoto.

Early in the second round of this bantamweight clash, Sunoto dove in for a takedown. Demonstrating top-level grappling defense honed over years of judo training, however, Kamikubo was able to pull off the reversal and wind up on top.

Perched in top position, the Japanese athlete began to rain down elbows and punches, but “The Terminator” displayed tremendous heart to survive, prevent his opponent from passing guard, and eventually get back to his feet.

However, the assault had exhausted the Indonesian, and when he was taken down again, “Stealth” quickly passed into mount.

Once again, the Kawasaki, Japan native rained down elbows and punches, and all Sunoto could do was cover up. Referee Olivier Coste jumped in to stop the contest with little more than a minute left in the round.

At ONE: HEART OF THE LION, Kamikubo will look to build on the momentum of this impressive debut as he takes on dangerous veteran Adrian “The Hunter” Pang (22-12-2) in a lightweight battle.

Given that former ONE Strawweight World Champion Dejdamrong sor Amnuaysirichoke (8-4) has been competing in Muay Thai for nearly his entire life, it should come as no surprise that he is capable of producing some incredible knockouts.

This is just what the Singapore-based Thai did when he collided with Robin “The Ilonggo” Catalan at ONE: QUEST FOR GREATNESS in August 2017.

After a first round that unfurled mostly on the mat, Dejdamrong ended things in the opening minute of the second round.

He began the stanza aggressively, as he walked his foe down and initiated a tie-up. From this position, he stung Catalan with knees to the body.

As the Filipino began to double over in discomfort, Dejdamrong dropped him with a perfectly-timed right hand to the jaw. The Thai hero immediately followed up with more knees, but he could only land one before the TKO was called just 46 seconds into round two.

Next, Dejdamrong will square off against Indian national wushu champion Himanshu Kaushik (4-2) at ONE: HEART OF THE LION.
