About Francisco Lo
Francisco Lo is one of the most innovative submission artists to test his mettle on the ONE Championship stage.
“Chico” has overcome a poverty-stricken upbringing in Manaus, Brazil, to become a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu star.
Although he dreamed of becoming a professional soccer player as a child, his whole outlook changed once he found BJJ at 10 years old.
The Brazilian later moved to the United States to join the star-studded Checkmat team, achieving his BJJ black belt in 2022.
He has since become an IBJJF Pan American No-Gi Champion and claimed the American National Championship in the gi, earning himself a reputation for his aggressive grappling style.
