About Alexis Nicolas
French lightweight kickboxing standout Alexis Nicolas took ONE Championship by storm — and it’s no surprise as to why.
“Barboza” overcame a difficult upbringing in some of Paris’ roughest neighborhoods to become one of the finest strikers in Europe.
After finding a boxing gym at age 14, Nicolas took up the traditional French kickboxing style of savate and quickly made a name for himself in the sport.
Over the next decade, he dominated the European kickboxing scene during an unbeaten 22-fight run, adding an ISKA World Title to his trophy cabinet along the way to gain the attention of ONE.
Now representing the star-studded Mahmoudi Gym in his homeland, he capped off his incredible “rags to riches” tale by winning the coveted ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Title from former king Regian Eersel at ONE Fight Night 21 in April 2024.
