Alyona Rassohyna

Alyona Rassohyna grew up in Ukraine’s fourth largest city of Dnipro where, as a child, she was bullied in school. Because she faced such challenges, her father encouraged her to learn self-defense. So, she started training in the all-encompassing sport of MMA – an endeavor that would prove to be successful.

Rassohyna made her professional debut in 2010 and quickly gained a reputation as a powerful grappler. With a record filled with submission victories, her favorite technique became the armbar. In 2021, she earned her greatest accomplishment yet when she submitted former two-sport ONE World Champion Stamp Fairtex in the third round of their bout at ONE: UNBREAKABLE III.

After taking a brief break from MMA to focus on motherhood, she got right back to her training and is now eying the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Title. When not competing, Rassohyna is the head coach of Club Rage alongside her husband in their home city of Dnipro.
