Andreas “Yhayaz” Satyawan

Status: Former ONE Athlete

Indonesian Kyokushinkai Karate Champion Andreas Satyawan was an aggressive child who often fought with his siblings, schoolmates, and others. Driven to find a healthier way to vent his frustrations, he took up martial arts in college, and it proved to be a turning point in his life. Since then, the natural striker has trained and competed under Muay Thai, kickboxing, and Kyokushin karate rules, finding success in each discipline.

Driven to take his career to the next level, Satyawan set his sights on competing in mixed martial arts. He dedicated himself to building his ground game, and worked with trainer Gunawan Wijaya to prepare for his professional debut in the ONE Championship cage. After years of domestic success, he is determined to make a name for himself on the global stage, and gain the experience he needs to become a World Champion.
