About Asadula Imangazaliev
For Asadula Imangazaliev, greatness was never handed to him. It was earned the hard way.
Born and raised in Buynaksk, Dagestan, Imangazaliev grew up in a household where sport was a way of life. His father, a lifelong sports enthusiast, made sure his sons understood the value of discipline from an early age. For “The Dagestan Ninja,” that meant lacing up his gloves for Muay Thai training at the age of 10.
By 14, a local gym was no longer enough. Hungry for a higher level of competition and coaching, the young Dagestani committed to a grueling daily routine – a 120-kilometer round trip, four hours on the road, every single day, all while keeping up with his studies. It was the kind of sacrifice that separates those who dream about success from those who go and get it.
Imangazaliev made his decision final in 2016. He relocated to Makhachkala – Dagestan’s capital city – and devoted himself entirely to the sport, leaving behind the comforts of home to pursue a life as a professional fighter.
The investment paid off. After thriving on the amateur circuit, Imangazaliev turned professional shortly after his 18th birthday and never looked back.
His pro debut came in 2021, and what followed has been a systematic dismantling of the competition – a body of work built on relentless aggression, sharp technique, unpredictable strikes, and the unbreakable work ethic forged on those long roads out of Buynaksk.
The Dagestani’s journey eventually brought him to Thailand, the spiritual home of Muay Thai, where his game reached an entirely new level. Imangazaliev began competing at ONE Friday Fights in 2024 and continued to demolish the opposition. In August 2025, he earned a life-changing contract and coveted roster spot with ONE Championship by knocking out seven-time Muay Thai World Champion Panpayak Jitmuangnon with a head kick.
Now, Imangazaliev arrives on the world’s biggest stage with one thing on his mind: World Title glory. And, “The Dagestan Ninja” has all the tools to achieve it.
