About Aziz Pahrudinov
Status: Former ONE Athlete
Sambo World Champion Aziz Pahrudinov first began his martial arts journey with combat sambo at the age of 16. Combining his natural talent with hard work and dedication, Pahrudinov took the grappling scene by storm, capturing titles at the Combat Sambo World Cup, WAKC Pankration Russian Cup, and NAGA along the way.
This led the Dagestani to pursue a career in the cage, as he believed it to be the pinnacle of martial arts competition. Taking the plunge, Pahrudinov made his professional debut in 2010, and translated his grappling success to mixed martial arts. He quickly ran up an incredible 21-bout unbeaten streak competing around the world in Russia, Ukraine, China, and Japan, finishing almost every opponent placed in front of him to establish himself as a voracious finisher.
These sterling credentials caught the eye of ONE Championship, and Pahrudinov now finds himself competing in the world’s largest martial arts organization. It has been an incredible journey for the young boy who came from simple beginnings in the foothills of the Caucasus mountains, and now, he is determined to seize this golden opportunity for global glory.
