About Cary Bullos
Status: Former ONE Athlete
Filipino Bantamweight Champion Cary Bullos hails from the boxing heartlands of Cebu, but actually began his martial arts journey with taekwondo when he was just 8 years old. As a teenager, he transitioned from taekwondo to judo, before making his professional mixed martial arts debut at the age of 16.
Bullos went on to win seven of his first eight bout in the Philippines, capturing a national bantamweight title for the Visayas people in the process. He beat many of a Filipino organization’s top fighters in the division, with all of his wins coming via submission or TKO, which made him a big fan-favorite in the Philippines.
In 2014, he signed with ONE Championship, and has bolstered his growing levels of experience by sharing a cage with several top featherweight contenders in pursuit of success.
