About Dustin Joynson
Canadian MMA standout Dustin Joynson is looking to rip through ONE Championship’s heavyweight division.
The British Columbia native quickly developed a reputation for himself in the regional fight scene. In his professional debut in 2014, he knocked out his opponent in just 58 seconds to kick-start his career into high gear. He followed up that extraordinary showing with a viral head-kick knockout in his second pro outing, and then he rattled off a few more highlight-reel victories and captured the BFL Heavyweight Title in 2018.
Joynson instantly caught the attention of several global MMA promotions, and after building his record to 6-0 (1 NC), he signed with ONE Championship.
Though he fell to future ONE World Title challenger Kirill Grishenko in his promotional debut at ONE: NEXTGEN in October 2021, the Canadian bounced back four months later. At ONE: BAD BLOOD, he defeated Hugo Cunha via split decision and handed the surging Brazilian juggernaut his first career blemish.
Now, Joynson plans to get back to his former glory and disrupt the heavyweight division’s foundations as he marches toward a ONE World Title shot.
