Undefeated star Dzhabir Dzhabrailov arrived in ONE Championship with an unbreakable determination, as he aims to rip through the promotion’s lightweight MMA division with the same devastating efficiency that has marked his meteoric rise in the sport.

Born in Chechnya and raised in Moscow, Dzhabrailov’s combat journey began early. School never captured his attention – all he ever wanted to do was learn, practice, and compete in combat sports. At 8 years old, he stepped onto the wrestling mats for the first time, and then he trained boxing for four years straight.

Recognizing his son’s potential, Dzhabrailov’s father began sending him to different cities and countries at the age of 13. That ultimately helped the young warrior become more open and communicative while expanding his worldview.

In 2017, the family relocated to Turkey so his brother could receive essential medical care. It was there where Dzhabrailov began combining his MMA skills under the guidance of ONE Championship star Halil Amir, a partnership that would prove transformational.

Dzhabrailov made his professional MMA debut in 2023. At the time, he was 18 years old and tested his skills in the welterweight division, earning a trio of stoppage wins. These victories captured the attention of ONE Championship, who signed him in mid-2024 to compete as a lightweight in the promotion’s weekly Asia primetime event series ONE Friday Fights.

The Turkey-based athlete quickly announced his arrival in July 2024, as he needed just 20 seconds to knock out Eduardo Freitas. Then, in January 2025, he put away Khusan Urakov in a mere 47 seconds.

Having made his mark at ONE Friday Fights, Dzhabrailov is now primed to face the biggest names in the sport on ONE’s global stage, ready to prove that his lightning-fast finishes are just the beginning of his World Title pursuit.
