Fabricio “Hokage” Andrey

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Champion “Hokage” Fabricio Andrey is bringing his electrifying style of ground fighting to ONE’s talent-laden submission grappling divisions.

Born and raised in the BJJ hotbed of Manaus, Brazil, Andrey found the grappling-based martial art at the age of 13 and hasn’t looked back since. The youngster showed a preternatural aptitude for the sport and was training alongside elite professionals almost immediately.

Andrey’s natural athleticism and knack for learning the intricacies of complex BJJ techniques led him to quick success throughout his colored belt career, as he won World Titles at both the blue and purple belt ranks, in addition to a European Championship as a brown belt.

In 2020, “Hokage” earned his well-deserved BJJ black belt and has since established himself as a mainstay of the elite scene. 

While expectations were always high for Andrey, his breakout moment came in 2021 when he won gold at the IBJJF World Championships, submitting former World Champion Jamil Hill-Taylor in highlight-reel fashion in the tournament’s final.

The Brazilian spent the next couple of years growing his reputation as an all-action submission hunter and adding to his trophy case with gold medal performances at the IBJJF European Championships, the Brazilian Nationals, and the ultra-tough ADCC South American Trials.

Beyond his impressive accomplishments on paper, “Hokage” is an entertainer. After beginning each match with his trademark power-up foot stop, he unleashes a seemingly never-ending torrent of offense.
