About Fajar

OPMMA Bantamweight Champion Fajar attended the Sport School Ragunan during his high school years and got his start in martial arts with wrestling at the urging of his uncle, a local wrestling coach.

Fajar has competed in many combat sports events throughout Asia, winning a silver medal at the Asian Championships and a Gold medal at the Southeast Asian Games in combat sambo, as well as multiple Indonesian national wrestling and grappling titles. He continued to enjoy success in mixed martial arts, winning three in a row and capturing the bantamweight title in a regional Indonesian promotion before signing to compete on the global stage of ONE Championship.

Fajar is a grappling specialist who is highly confident in his takedowns and submission attacks. He looks forward to showing the world his best and working his way towards a ONE World Title shot.
