About Freddie Haggerty
Due to his family upbringing, England’s Freddie Haggerty was bound to be a fighter. He grew up with a mixed martial artist for a father and his older brother is ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Champion Jonathan Haggerty.
But during his childhood, Haggerty spent his free time performing in West End musicals such as Matilda and Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. He even played the violin.
As his adolescence began, combat sports became the center of his attention. Haggerty began training at Team Knowlesy and under his father’s tutelage at Team Underground in London, learning both Muay Thai and MMA.
Haggerty regularly competed in both sports in his teenage years, earning a 2-0 record in amateur MMA before focusing solely on Muay Thai.
Competing in “The Art of Eight Limbs,” he won under-18 WBC European and National titles. He also became a multiple-time British Muay Thai Champion and two-time European Muay Thai Champion
In 2024 he followed his brother into ONE Championship, where he’s been competing on the weekly ONE Friday Fights series.
There, he delivered three thrilling knockouts to introduce himself to ONE’s global fan base.
Haggerty has continued to live up to expectations, and he has no intentions of stopping until he earns a contract with the world’s largest martial arts organization and wears ONE Championship gold around his waist — just like his brother.
