Jenelyn “The Graceful” Olsim

Atomweight contender Jenelyn Olsim hails from Baguio City in the Philippines, the nation’s hotspot for mixed martial arts competitors.

Known as “The Graceful,” she began her athletic career with basketball and volleyball in school, but she found martial arts in her teens and never looked back.

Olsim started with the striking arts and garnered huge success. She earned multiple medals in the Asian Games and SEA Games competing in Muay Thai, and she also tried her hand at other martial arts styles, including wushu.

But in 2016, the Filipina stand-up specialist decided to enter the all-encompassing sport of MMA and made a successful pro debut. After a brief run in ONE Warrior Series, she graduated to the big show in 2020, prompting a move to the famous Team Lakay where she could train with her country’s most decorated athletes.

Now perfecting her craft alongside several former ONE World Champions, Olsim’s career in The Home of Martial Arts got off to a solid start with back-to-back wins in 2021. And after beating Brazilian standout Julie Mezabarba in 2022, the Filipina has proved that she belongs on the global stage with the world’s elite atomweights.
