About Josue Cruz
Josue “Tuzo” Cruz is a Mexican inspiration story. After all, he was the first person from the country to sign with ONE Championship and compete in the organization’s Muay Thai division.
This is an anomaly because Cruz comes from one of the world’s hotbeds for boxing. But instead of following his pugilistic compatriots in Mexico, “Tuzo” instead focused on Muay Thai.
He dominated the local circuit, going an undefeated 17-0 in the sport before joining the world’s largest martial arts organization in 2022.
Since then, Cruz has had one mission – to pave the way for other Mexican Muay Thai fighters who’s dream it is to compete on the global stage.
