“Mighty Warrior” Kang Ji Won

Kang Ji Won is one of the most dangerous strikers in ONE Championship’s talent-rich heavyweight MMA division.

“Mighty Warrior” reeled off a trio of first-round knockout victories on the local scene in his native South Korea, which caught the attention of ONE Championship. He then joined the roster in 2021.

The Wang Ho representative made a huge splash in his first appearance on the global stage, when he beat the buzzer with a late first-round TKO over Mehdi Bargi at ONE: UNBREAKABLE III.

He followed that up with a come-from-behind knockout of former Greco-Roman Wrestling World Champion Amir Aliakbari just one month later to establish himself as a rising star in the heavyweight ranks.

Since then, Kang has been a mainstay in the world’s largest martial arts organization, where his concussive punches make him one of the most dangerous heavyweights on the roster.
