About Lan Ming Qiang
Status: Former ONE Athlete
Born and raised by a family of farmers in Baise City in the Chinese province of Guangxi, Chinese Sanda Champion Lan Ming Qiang endured a tough childhood under humble circumstances. However, he did not have good grades in school, and struggled to find a way to improve the lives of his family.
That is when Lan decided that his only option was to turn to martial arts, compete professionally, and forge a better future by seizing his own destiny. Through Chinese sanda, he quickly made a name for himself on the local kickboxing scene, and won several medals and championships with a 16-2 record.
Training alongside the likes of ONE Championship star Ma Hao Bin at the Jincan Defense Club, he inevitably turned his attention to the cage to further test his skills. After an impressive start to his new career with two successive wins, he has followed in his famed teammate’s footsteps, and made his debut on the global stage at ONE: GLOBAL SUPERHEROES.
