About Macarena Aragon
Macarena Aragon joined the world’s largest martial arts organization in 2024 looking to become the first Argentinian to win a ONE World Title.
Born and raised in San Miguel de Tucuman, the proud wife and mother entered ONE Championship with an undefeated MMA record, having competed all around South America.
Aragon is well-versed in kickboxing and Muay Thai, but her foundation lies in judo. In fact, she started training judo from the age of 9 before joining an MMA gym.
She put her MMA ambitions on hold, however, when she was selected for the Argentine national judo team. She went on to become Pan American Champion as she worked toward Olympic aspirations.
Aragon made her professional MMA debut just a few months after giving birth to her daughter, and she won by submission.
Although she has a steep task in front of her considering ONE’s talent-rich women’s atomweight MMA division, Aragon wants to make her family proud and will stop at nothing to soar to great heights in MMA.
