Stephen “The Sniper” Loman

Stephen Loman is a five-time MMA Champion from Baguio City, Philippines. “The Sniper” has a wushu background that he has carefully honed over the years, but he is also known for his incredible submission game.

Loman won the bantamweight title at the 2017 Brave FC tournament in Bahrain, defeating Gurdarshan “Saint Lion” Mangat in the final. After successfully defending his belt four times, “The Sniper” was given the opportunity to show off his skills in ONE Championship.

The Filipino star’s run in the world’s largest martial arts organization got off to a flying start in December 2021, as he knocked out Dagestani grappling sensation Yusup Saadulaev. He followed that up by defeating former Shooto Bantamweight Champion Shoko Sato three months later.

But Loman’s greatest victory came in November 2022, as he dominated Bibiano Fernandes – an 11-time ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion and the longest reigning titleholder in the promotion’s history – over the course of three rounds to secure a unanimous decision.

Now the #2-ranked bantamweight MMA contender, Loman is always one win away from becoming the next Filipino athlete to challenge for ONE World Title gold.
