Martin Batur

Martin Batur’s fascination with mixed martial arts led him to pick up the sport and start his career in 2012. The Croatian heavyweight has monstrous knockout power, but he enjoys utilizing the clinch to bring his opponents to the canvas, where he can unleash thunderous ground-and-pound.

In 2015, Batur stepped away from active competition. The Zadar resident prioritized his loved ones and took time to help build the family business. After sustaining success, Batur returned to MMA in 2020. Competing in Croatia and Germany, he looked better than ever as he reeled off three consecutive stoppage victories to reignite his career.

Now that he is with ONE Championship, Batur is determined to strike fear in the heavyweight division with his well-rounded skill set. The Croatian believes his ability to finish a fight on the feet and the ground will make him a difficult matchup for any opponent inside the Circle. And if he has his way, he’ll extend his winning streak and challenge for the ONE Heavyweight World Title in the near future.
