About Mohammad Karaki
Two-Division Desert Force Champion Mohammad Karaki has loved martial arts since he was a child, training in Shotokan Karate diligently from the age of 15 and receiving his black belt in the art. Soon after, he switched his focus to Brazilian jiu-jitsu, attaining the rank of brown belt and reaching the podium in several major Middle Eastern tournaments.
Karaki first stepped into the cage almost by accident, replacing a friend on short notice before stopping his opponent by technical knockout in the first round. Taking this as a sign, he decided to dedicate himself fully to mixed martial arts. He quickly put together an undefeated 9-0 record with eight stoppages, picking up three championship belts in regional promotions along the way.
After dominating the Middle Eastern scene, Karaki is now ready to showcase his talents on the international stage of ONE Championship. He represents American Top Team, training under Conan Silveira and boxing coach Mikey Rod, along with the likes of Luis “Sapo” Santos. Karaki brings a dominant ground game and powerful striking to the table, as well as an exciting style that has seen him finish almost all of his opponents to date.
