Mouhcine “The Assassin” Chafi is one of the most prolific strikers to come out of Spain.

Chafi’s journey into martial arts began under the guidance of his father, who was an avid karate practitioner. Carrying the tradition forward, he immersed himself in the discipline for four years, laying the foundation for what would later become a distinguished career in full-contact kickboxing and Muay Thai.

Transitioning from karate to more intense disciplines, Chafi seamlessly integrated the principles of traditional martial arts into his evolving style. His unique approach became a hallmark of his performances, blending the finesse of karate with the raw power of Muay Thai.

The Spanish-Moroccan star brilliantly rose up the ranks, winning WBC National and International Muay Thai Titles. And this past July, Chafi reached a new career milestone, as he knocked out former ONE Championship athlete Miles Simson to claim the WBC Light Heavyweight Muay Thai World Title.

That led Chafi directly to the world’s largest martial arts organization. Though he made his promotional debut on short notice against former two-time ONE World Title challenger Sinsamut Klinmee in November, “The Assassin” displayed tenacity and pushed his Thai rival to the limit over three grueling rounds.

Now, Chafi has another chance to prove he belongs among the sport’s elite. At ONE Fight Night 17 on Prime Video this December 8, he will square off against former ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Title challenger Dmitry Menshikov.
