About Nita Dea
Status: Former ONE Athlete
Multiple-time Indonesian National Wushu and Wrestling Champion Nita Dea is from West Bandung, in the mountains of West Java, Indonesia. Dea first embarked on her martial arts journey with wrestling as a first-year high school student, and proved to be natural talent in the sport, winning multiple national championships while completing her studies.
In 2008, Dea was introduced to wushu sanda after meeting her coach, Reza Pratama, and would achieve success in that discipline as well, capturing a several national wushu championships. She joined her current gym, BO.S.S Kickboxing and MMA, shortly after, and has been successfully competing in kickboxing, Muay Thai, and silat bouts ever since.
Dea made her ONE Championship debut in May 2017, and put on a tremendous showing. Now, she continues training hard, and is determined not to let this huge opportunity on the global stage of martial arts go to waste.
