Provincial Muay Thai Champion Putri Padmi was a disobedient, hyperactive child. After repeatedly getting into trouble, her father decided to enroll her in karate lessons when she was in junior high school, hoping to instill discipline in the young Padmi.
Martial arts succeeded in reforming her, and even led her to pursue a career as a police officer. However, after failing numerous times to complete the program, she began to look for other options. Her success in regional karate, boxing, and Muay Thai led her to mixed martial arts, where she made a winning debut.
Padmi now strives to balance her parents’ dreams for her future with following her own path. Together with ONE Indonesian star Adrian Mattheis, she trains diligently at Tigershark under the watchful eye of famed coach Zuli Silawanto, and is determined to make the most of her ONE Championship opportunity.
