About Ricardo Bravo
Fast-rising Muay Thai star Ricardo Bravo has made a huge impression since his first appearance under the ONE Championship banner in 2023.
Born in Quilmes, Buenos Aires, Argentina, Bravo traveled alone to Tokyo, Japan, at just 17 years old to pursue his dream of becoming a professional fighter.
Since that day, he has been working tirelessly at the Weerasackreck Fairtex Gym in the Japanese capital. Along the way, he racked up an impressive 24-2 record on the regional circuit to earn an invitation to test his skills in the weekly ONE Friday Fights series.
Bravo’s ultimate goal is to buy his mother a house, and he took a step closer to that dream after he produced three barnstorming knockouts on the ONE Friday Fights platform to earn a US$100,000 contract with the world’s largest martial arts organization in 2024.
With dynamite in his hands, few would bet against Bravo realizing his dream of reaching the very pinnacle of the sport.
