KWC 3 Featherweight Tournament Finalist Rin Saroth‘s parents were humble farmers. As a result, he left school at an early age to start his Kun Khmer training in order to contribute to the family finances with his earnings.
Seeking a new challenge after an incredible 110-22 record in Kun Khmer, Saroth made his cage debut in 2013, and put his elite striking background to good use to win by TKO. He fell in love with competing in the cage and quickly made three more appearances over the course of a year, including a challenge for the Khmer Warrior Challenge 3 Featherweight Tournament championship.
He then made his ONE Championship debut in December 2015, and seized his chance to impress, winning by armbar submission to showcase his evolving skill set. Saroth continues to sharpen his skills, training daily with elite Cambodian martial artists the likes of Meas Meul, Thai Rithy, and Sim Bunsrun, who have all found success on the global stage of ONE Championship.
