Shamil Erdogan

From the mountains of Dagestan comes another fighter with all the tools to reach the very top of MMA, Shamil Erdogan. 

The middleweight athlete was born and raised in the Russian Republic, where he was battle hardened by the harsh realities of life on the streets. 

It wasn’t until age 12 that he enrolled at a local wrestling club with his father’s encouragement. There, he initially struggled to break through in the talent-rich wrestling hotbed that is his home province.  

But his persistence paid off and, finally, he became a regular fixture on the podium. As MMA rose to prominence in his home country, the sport soon piqued his interest. He was a natural, and soon he began to dream of becoming a star in mixed martial arts. 

After reeling off eight-straight wins on the regional fight scene, Erdogan made his ONE Championship debut with a vicious body kick knockout of veteran Fan Rong in 2023. 

Now, the Kremost Fight Club representative has his sights firmly set on World Title glory in the world’s largest martial arts organization.
