Sherif “The Shark” Mohamed

EFC Light Heavyweight Champion Sherif Mohamed is from Cairo, Egypt, and represents Egyptian Top Team, one of the most established martial arts gyms in the country. He has spent his career plying his trade in regional promotions EFC Evolution and Desert Force, where he has enjoyed great success.

After capturing the EFC light heavyweight title, Sherif suffered a setback fighting in Russia, but soon returned to winning ways, putting together three submission wins in a row to earn a contract with ONE Championship.

Nicknamed “The Shark,” Sherif hopes to be the first of his countrymen to truly make an impact on the international mixed martial arts scene, and put Egyptian martial arts on the world map. He is already well on his way having finished all his wins to date, with an assortment of submissions and knockouts proving his exciting and well-rounded ability.
