WKF Indonesia Champion “The Terminator” Sunoto is from East Java, but moved to Jakarta in 2012 to pursue his martial arts dreams and has been based there ever since. He first started training in taekwondo as a child, but soon picked up other disciplines as well, travelling around the country to successfully compete in all of them.

Besides becoming a regional sanda champion, Sunoto also currently holds the rank of brown belt in traditional Japanese jiu jitsu, and is a member of the Indonesian national sambo team, belying his growing all-round skills. He inevitably began competing in mixed martial arts to further challenge himself, as he believes it represents the true test of a martial artist.

Sunoto made his professional debut in 2013 and signed with ONE Championship just two years later. Since joining the promotion, Sunoto has put on several thrilling displays, showcasing an ever-improving game to establish himself as Indonesia’s top bantamweight martial artist.
