Tyson “John Wayne Noi” Harrison

Rising Australian Muay Thai star Tyson Harrison is one of the most exciting fighters in the talent-rich bantamweight division. 

Nicknamed “John Wayne Noi” – an ode to Aussie Muay Thai legend John Wayne Parr – Harrison never fails to bring the crowd to its feet with his all-action fighting style and never-say-die attitude. 

The Gold Coast native started his Muay Thai journey at a young age, and he quickly established himself as a fighter to watch. 

By his teenage years, Harrison was a fan favorite on the local circuit. At age 16, however, he courageously decided to move to Thailand to follow his passion for “the art of eight limbs.”

He now lives and trains at the famous Sangtiennoi Muay Gym just North of Bangkok, where he spent years honing his craft under the watchful eye of the late, great Golden Era legend Sangtiennoi Sor Rungroj. 

Harrison remains committed to honoring the legacies of former 1990s teammates Parr and Sangtiennoi, and he has done just that, facing elite opposition in some of the most memorable battles on the ONE Friday Fights platform.
