About Victoria Souza

Victoria Souza had no idea that an incorrectly labeled exercise class would eventually lead her to the global stage of martial arts – but that’s exactly what happened to the Brazilian.

After the perils of work had her stressed out, Souza wanted to try Zumba to burn off some steam. But that Zumba class turned out to be a Muay Thai session, and she immediately fell in love with the sport.

Soon, the former accountant couldn’t get enough of martial arts and started practicing kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. She went on to become a three-time Brazilian Kickboxing Champion and a Pan-American Kickboxing Champion. She also competed regularly in BJJ tournaments.

That all prepared her for the world of mixed martial arts. After making her professional debut in 2020, Souza won five straight bouts, including three by stoppage.

The Brazilian then joined ONE Championship in 2021, and she’s steadily becoming a staple of the loaded women’s atomweight division.
