“Little Whirlwind” Wang Shuo

Wang Shuo embodies the spirit of resilience and tenacity in the sport of mixed martial arts.

Born and raised in the heart of China, he embarked on his martial arts journey at a young age, cultivating a never-say-die attitude that would come to define his career.

When he turned professional in 2013, “Little Whirlwind” quickly garnered attention with his ferocious fighting style at the regional level. Over the course of seven years, he engaged in 20 battles. Each one served as a testament to his unwavering commitment to his craft. 

In June 2015, Wang was granted the opportunity to showcase his talent on the ONE Championship stage. Despite his best efforts, he suffered a defeat in his promotional debut, a setback that only fueled his hunger for success.

His years of perseverance and hard work bore fruit when he made a triumphant return to the world’s largest martial arts organization at “ONE on TNT II.” Seizing his second chance, he delivered a spectacular performance, knocking out Kim Kyu Sung with a thunderous elbow strike in the third round.
