About Youssef Assouik
Lightweight Muay Thai standout Youssef Assouik has arrived in the world’s largest martial arts organization with an already impressive resume.
The Denmark-based Moroccan has won a slew of titles across Europe and the Middle East, but a recent golden run saw him appear on ONE Championship’s radar.
Already a former two-division ISKA World Champion, he defeated former ONE World Title challenger Jimmy Vienot in 2024 to claim the WMC World Title.
Now, Assouik has the ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Title in his crosshairs as he looks to add the coveted 26-pound gold belt to his collection.
In between his training and running the Assouik Gym, he spends his spare time engaging in social work. His role sees him mentor troubled youth in the local area to help them live healthier lives, just like he did when he found Muay Thai at the age of 15.
