ONE Championship is heating up the month with a massive weekend doubleheader that’s loaded with an assortment of must-see MMA, Muay Thai, and kickboxing showdowns.
The world’s largest martial arts organization kicks it all off with ONE Friday Fights 86, which broadcasts live in Asia primetime from Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium on November 8, and two dozen rising stars will compete for a chance to win a life-changing US$100,000 contract and spot on the promotion’s global roster.
In the main event, two-time Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion Kompet Fairtex and dangerous knockout artist Chartpayak Saksatoon will collide in a 126-pound Muay Thai clash.
Kompet is hunting for his 89th career win and his sixth consecutive promotional victory, while his Thai compatriot, Chartpayak, aims for his fifth straight knockout in the weekly series.
Also, in the featured bout of the evening, Nontachai Jitmuangnon will meet Dmitrii Kovtun in a 150-pound Muay Thai tussle. Plus, Australian striker Celest Hansen and Team Lakay’s Carlos Alvarez will make their highly anticipated returns to the Madison Square Garden of the East.
