After delivering a landmark debut, the world’s largest martial arts organization is returning to Tokyo with the second chapter of its thrilling new monthly event series.

ONE SAMURAI 2 emanates live from the EBARA WAVE Arena Ota on Saturday, August 8, and it’s set to feature Japanese Champions, the next generation of homegrown phenoms, and a host of international superstars all competing in high-octane kickboxing and MMA battles.

The event is highlighted by the ONE SAMURAI Featherweight Kickboxing Tournament quarterfinals, and the man who wins the eight-man bracket will earn the ultimate prize: a shot at Superbon’s ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Title.

Two of the quarterfinal bouts carry serious history.

Everything comes to a head in the main event. Former ONE Interim Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Masaaki Noiri and Chinese contender “Spirit Dragon” Liu Mengyang reignite a rivalry that has simmered for nearly two years, and both men know exactly what is at stake. Noiri, the hometown hero, is fueled by redemption and refuses to be denied twice, but Liu wants to dominate his Japanese rival once more and prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that his first victory was no fluke.

The co-main event is every bit as explosive. Former two-division SHOOT BOXING Champion Kaito Ono returns with a score to settle against Mohammad Siasarani, desperate to avenge his earlier defeat and claim his first victory in ONE Championship.
