5 Explosive Finishes From ONE: FOR HONOR's Knockout Artists
ONE: FOR HONOR will host a collection of hard-hitting knockout artists who will be on the hunt for emphatic finishes in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Mixed martial arts and Muay Thai athletes will face off inside the Istora Senayan in 4-ounce gloves that are designed to bring striking stoppages.
Fans would be right to expect the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title main event featuring Sam-A Gaiyanghadao and Jonathan Haggerty to produce stand-up action of the highest quality, but there are plenty of other top-class athletes on the undercard who can deliver the goods.
Here are five of the best knockouts from the athletes in action on Friday, 3 May.

Sam-A Gaiyanghadao became the first ONE Super Series World Champion with a stunning stoppage victory over Sergio “Samurai” Wielzen at ONE: UNSTOPPABLE DREAMS.
The Evolve representative is best known for his lightning kicks, but he earned the gold with a series of crushing elbows in the fourth round.
Wielzen first went down from a left elbow as he tried to clinch. The Thai saw that the elbows were his rival’s kryptonite and kept up the pressure on his rival.
Wielzen again tried unsuccessfully to clinch to escape Sam-A’s powerful left kick, but he only succeeded in exposing an opening for a left upward elbow. “Samurai” tried to spin for a counter-attack, but Sam-A kept his composure and scored with a left elbow, and then the right to seal the deal and claim the World Title.
He will defend the belt for the first time against rising British star Jonathan Haggerty on 3 May.

The action was fast and furious when Adrian “Padua Badboy” Mattheis and Angelo Bimoadji met at ONE: CONQUEST OF HEROES.
But the Indonesian strawweight only battled at a breakneck pace for half a round because the “Papua Badboy” unleashed his powerful right hand to end the contest.
Mattheis scrambled to his feet from a bad position on the ground, and when Bimoadji beckoned him on, he obliged. First, he threw a three-punch combination that got his opponent’s attention, and then he unleashed a left hook, which was followed by a right uppercut that planted Bimoadji on the canvas.
The Jakarta native continued his attack with punches on the ground, and was soon celebrating a fantastic TKO.
The 25-year-old has only seen the judges’ scorecards once in his career, and he will expect to score another finish against India’s Himanshu Kaushik in his hometown on 3 May.

Priscilla Hertati Lumban Gaol’s wushu striking has never looked better in ONE than when she poured on the offense against Audreylaura “Ice Comet” Boniface at ONE: KINGS OF COURAGE.
In the early running of this women’s atomweight encounter, “Thathie” landed clean strikes out in the open which prompted Boniface to clinch, but the Indonesian would not be contained.
When Lumban Gaol resumed her work back in the middle of the Circle, she quickly found success. The Siam Training Camp athlete countered a low kick attempt from Boniface with a sharp cross and left high kick that started the finishing sequence.
As “Ice Comet” reeled from the powerful shots, Lumban Gaol chased her rival down with a pair of head kicks, and then a flurry of punches that made her fall for the finish.
Lumban Gaol will return to perform in front of her compatriots against powerful Cambodian striker Nou Srey Pov at ONE: FOR HONOR.

“Jordan Boy” Mohammed Bin Mahmoud scored an explosive victory in front of his countrymen at ONE: DESTINY OF CHAMPIONS in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Against the durable Stergos “Greek Dynamite” Mikkios, Mohammed evaded his rival’s wild swings and repaid them with interest.
Mikkios first crashed onto the canvas after he rushed in with a superman punch. “Jordan Boy” saw it coming, entered the clinch, and then unleashed an explosive right elbow.
“Greek Dynamite” got back to his feet, but not for long. Mohammed backed him up straight away with a cross and left body kick, and then finished the job with another hard right hand.
Mohammed will make his comeback to the ring in a ONE Super Series bantamweight Muay Thai bout against Andrew “Maddog Fairtex” Miller at the Istora Senayan.

Chan Rothana returned after a long layoff to face Abro “The Black Komodo” Fernandes, and their rip-roaring flyweight tussle at ONE: DESTINY OF CHAMPIONS was worth waiting for.
Fernandes utilized his high-energy grappling to try and subdue the Cambodian, but Rothana was eager for victory and never stopped working to return to his feet throughout the first two rounds.
The Indonesian’s gas tank started to run out toward the end of the second stanza, and Rothana took full advantage as he turned up the pressure with his volume striking.
The finish came when Phnom Penh native backed his rival to the fence and landed a two stiff punches, and then a high knee to the head. “The Black Komodo” crumbled, and Rothana finished him off with ground strikes.
He will face off against another Indonesian warrior next month in the form of Rudy “The Golden Boy” Agustian.
