China’s Han Zi Hao punched his ticket to a ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title shot with three consecutive victories in late 2018, including two emphatic knockouts.
His KO of Ryan “The Filipino Assassin” Jakiri at ONE: PURSUIT OF GREATNESS stands out for the sheer force and velocity with which his right hand halted the contest.
Han was on the receiving end at first as his left kick to Jakiri’s midsection was caught and countered with a left hook. However, it was not accurate enough and skidded off the top of the Mad Muay Thai Gym representative’s head.
The Chinese hero had no such issues, as his reply found the mark perfectly. As Jakiri retracted his left hook, he left an opening for a thunderous right hand that came over the top and connected flush on the jaw to send “The Filipino Assassin” to the canvas.
Han’s timing was excellent, and this finish revealed just how fine the margins are between success and failure at the highest level.
He will take on Nong-O Gaiyanghadao for the World Title in the main event in Bangkok.

Alaverdi “The Dagger” Ramazanov had a breakout year when he entered The Home Of Martial Arts in 2018, and the biggest moment was his record-breaking KO of Andrew “Mad Dog” Miller at ONE: HEART OF THE LION in Singapore.
Ramazanov entered off the back of a big win over Petchmorrakot Petchyindee Academy, and fans knew what he was capable of delivering on the global stage for martial arts, but they might not have expected such an explosive performance.
Miller stepped in to attack early on behind knee feints, but “The Dagger” did not buy it. Instead, he stepped forward with his own right leg to throw a right hook. This initial shot missed, but the follow-ups did not.
Behind the hook came a left straight that was planted on his rival’s face, and then a ripping right uppercut landed under the chin to rock “Mad Dog’s” head back, and left him looking up at the lights.
The 57-second KO gave the Russian the fastest finish to date in ONE Super Series.
He returns to face Kongsak P.K.Saenchaimuaythaigym in front of the Thai’s countrymen.

“Smokin” Jo Nattawut’s power was too much for Yohann Fairtex Drai to handle when the pair met at ONE: PURSUIT OF POWER in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
His right hand had already felled the Frenchman earlier in the first stanza, but the finishing sequence was an intense barrage of shots that sealed the deal.
Nattawut dumped his rival from the clinch and when Drai stood back up, the Thai forced him to the fence with his pressure boxing. The Venum Training Camp man’s bravery saw him try to fire back with kicks, but he could not stave off the attack.
“Smokin” Jo unleashed a volley of left hooks and right crosses that repeatedly found their mark, and the final hook-cross combination crumpled Drai to the mat for a huge knockout with just one second remaining in the opening round.
Nattawut will meet another Frenchman in Samy “AK-47” Sana in a featherweight contest inside the Impact Arena.

Gina “Conviction” Iniong used position and accumulation to pick up a well-worked TKO over Priscilla Hertati Lumban Gaol at ONE: LEGENDS OF THE WORLD.
The Team Lakay wushu specialist used her well-rounded skill set to control Lumban Gaol in the clinch in their atomweight encounter, before rallying for a finish when she tripped her rival to the canvas in round two.
Iniong already held a dominant side control position, but when she trapped “Thathie’s” left arm with her legs in a crucifix position, there was no escape.
“Conviction” pummeled away with punches and hammer fists, and Lumban Gaol’s only way out was to be saved by the referee after a constant stream of hard strikes.
Iniong will hope to hand Jihin “Shadow Cat” Radzuan her first defeat in a main card battle on 16 February.

Emilio “The Honey Badger” Urrutia scored the signature win of his career against Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialist Bruno “Puccibull” Pucci at ONE: GLOBAL SUPERHEROES.
Urrutia shrugged off some early takedown attempts and forced Pucci to play the stand-up game, battering him with low kicks and heavy punches.
The American opened up the taps on “Puccibull” against the fence, and it seemed the Brazilian was ready to drop at any moment. However, “The Honey Badger” waited patiently for the right opportunity to drop the final hammer.
As Pucci pawed out a weak jab on the back foot, Urrutia let rip with a rocket of a right hand, followed by a left hook that sent his opponent down and out.
The Tiger Muay Thai man will welcome Yoshiki Nakahara to the world’s largest martial arts organization at ONE: CLASH OF LEGENDS.
