ONE Championship is returning to Bangkok, Thailand this weekend, and many of the promotion’s fiercest warriors will be out to put on a spectacular show.

This coming Saturday, 24 March, the promotion will hold ONE: IRON WILL at Bangkok’s Impact Arena, and many of the athletes competing at the event are known for their consistency in delivering spectacular finishes.

Every single time two-division ONE World Champion Martin “The Situ-Asian” Nguyen leaves ONE cage, he leaves knowing he put on a thrilling performance.

In fact, the Vietnamese-Australian has a perfect 100 percent finishing rate, as all 10 of his wins have ended in highlight reel fashion.

The 29-year-old is a well-rounded combatant, but his dynamite overhand right has put to sleep his last three adversaries — all champions or world champions – in Kazunori Yokota, Marat Gafurov, and Eduard Folayang.

On Saturday, Nguyen faces ONE Bantamweight World Champion Bibiano Fernandes for a historic third world title belt, and although he feels the match could be won in the championship rounds, that will not prevent him from looking for an early finish.

Alain “The Panther” Ngalani

Another warrior famous for his perfect finishing rate of Alain “The Panther” Ngalani.

The Hong Kong hulk is a four-time Muay Thai and kickboxing heavyweight champion who has developed a reputation for stopping opponents with his thunderous striking. In fact, he owns the fastest KO in ONE heavyweight history with his 11-second destruction of former world title challenger Hideki Sekine

All of his victories under ONE’s Global Rules Set have come by knockout, and “The Panther” expects to keep that streak alive in his light heavyweight debut this coming Saturday against Mongolia’s Ariunbold Tur-Ochir.

If Ngalani has his way, he will end the night with his ‘Panther high kick to the head.’

Former ONE Strawweight World Champion Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke has made a career out of stopping the opposition.

The three-time Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai world champion, simply known as “Rong,” has marvelously carried his legendary skills to the all-encompassing world of the ONE cage.

Amnuaysirichoke is a legitimate knockout king, as half of his victories inside the ONE cage have come by KO. But also, he has shown grappling savvy by submitting a pair of opponents early in his tenure.

Every strike he throws is with absolute power, especially his punches and his knees — as discovered by both Rene and Robin Catalan. This Saturday, look for “Rong” to turn his bout with Jeremy “The Jaguar” Miado into a Muay Thai showcase.

Shannon “OneShin” Wiratchai

Will Shannon Wiratchai’s unorthodox striking elevate him to the next level on 24 March?

He may make a grand entrance into the arena, but Shannon “OneShin” Wiratchai is known to maintain, and even intensify, the excitement when he competes inside the cage.

The 29-year-old lightweight is a certified finisher, having claimed stoppage victories in six of his eight professional wins.

All of that could be chalked up to his ‘OneShin Striking System,’ his self-created martial arts program which aims to effectively attack any opening that presents itself.

Wiratchai has based his career off exploiting his opponent’s weaknesses, both on the feet and on the ground, and that has clearly paid off. Now, the motivated Thai will look to take out a tough opponent in Rahul Raju, and finish him at home in Bangkok.

Saygid “Dagi” Guseyn Arslanaliev

Turkey’s Saygid “Dagi” Guseyn Arslanaliev may be the most consistent quick finisher in the sport today.

The 23-year-old Istanbul, Turkey native has only shown a sample of his versatile skill set, which includes a relentless array of explosive striking, tight submissions, and thunderous slams.

In his first four bouts as a professional, he has defeated every opponent in under two minutes, and he will attempt to do so again against Tetsuya Yamada in his promotional return this weekend.

Tetsuya “MMA Fantasista” Yamada

Perhaps the only person to keep up with Arslanaliev’s speed is Yamada.

Yamada, a ZST Welterweight Champion, has a massive experience advantage over the Turk. He has 17 stoppage victories to date, with an overwhelming majority of them coming in the first round.

The 27-year-old Japanese combatant’s stand-up is as solid as his grappling, which he masterfully showcased in his quick victory over Kyle Rozewski last September when he tapped the American out in under two minutes.

Against Arslanaliev, Yamada expects to build upon his stellar finishing reputation with a submission victory over his Turkish rival this weekend in Bangkok.

Rika “Tinydoll” Ishige had an incredible debut year that saw her break out as a bonafide star.

In 2017, the 28-year-old Thai scored all three of her wins with a spectacular finish before ever seeing the third round.

She may have rapidly-improving striking, but she appears more comfortable with her grappling. So far, she has shown her ability to take opponents down and search for submissions or a ground and pound TKO.

At home in Bangkok, “Tinydoll” welcomes debutant Angelie Sabanal to the promotion on Saturday.

Kritsada “Dream Man” Kongsrichai

He may not be as popular as Nguyen or Ngalani yet, but Kritsada “Dream Man” Kongsrichai also has a perfect finishing rate of 100 percent.

The 26-year-old is a multi-time Thai national wrestling champion with a Muay Thai background. Between those skills, and his ever-developing Brazilian jiu-jitsu game, he has pulverized the competition.

Kongsrichai is coming off a pair of solid TKO victories over Adrian Matheis and Rabin Catalan, and he next meets another Catalan in Robin. Another impressive stoppage victory will undoubtedly push him into the upper echelons of the strawweight division.

Indonesia’s Sunoto certainly lives up to his nickname.

“The Terminator” has a healthy knowledge of various martial arts, and cleverly leans on either his striking finesse, or grappling flair, to take full advantage of a rival’s weakness.

Most recently, the WKF Indonesia Champion has relied on his grappling to dominate his most recent adversaries —a ground and pound TKO of Chan Heng and an Americana submission victory of Rin Saroth.

This weekend, he plans to finish Malaysia’s Hisyam Samdusin, but it will not be easy, as the Malaysian has shown to be as tough as they come.
