Adriano Moraes Skateboards With The Ruotolo Brothers In Los Angeles
ONE Flyweight World Champion Adriano Moraes isn’t the only skateboarding fanatic in the organization, and he recently linked up with some fellow sidewalk surfers.
Moraes was in Los Angeles to promote his upcoming World Title defense against MMA legend Demetrious Johnson at ONE on Prime Video 1 on Friday, August 26, and after some training, he hit the ramp with Tye Ruotolo and Kade Ruotolo.
The twin grappling sensations are also avid skateboarders, and the trio had some fun together showing off their slick tricks.
Reflecting on the session, Moraes said:
“I [went] skating with the Ruotolo brothers today at the gym. At RVCA, they have a small ramp. That’s amazing. We had a really good time. I used to go skateboarding when I was a teenager, so I used to go everywhere with my skateboard. I love to skateboard.”
Can Buchecha Rival Adriano Moraes On A Skateboard?
Adriano Moraes built some new bonds with the Ruotolos over their love of skateboarding, but what about his American Top Team stablemate and fellow ONE star Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida?
The Brazilian heavyweight – who will also compete at ONE on Prime Video 1 against Kirill Grishenko – might not have the same silky skills as his compatriot, but he does enjoy hitting the streets.
And while his burly frame might need a reinforced board, it’s still something he finds fun when he gets the chance.
“Buchecha” said:
“I’m down [to skate], but I’m not good at it.
“I mean, I play around, but I’m not good. Adriano is the man of the skateboard. But I like to play, more like cruising.”
