ONE’s Top 3 Muay Thai And Kickboxing Knockouts From April-June 2021

Scenes from the ONE: FULL BLAST II main event between Saemapetch Fairtex and Kulabdam Sor. Jor. Piek Uthai

ONE Super Series always brings the heat, and in the second quarter of 2021, the promotion’s stand-up specialists delivered a variety of stunning wins.

As always, striking stars from around the world brought their elite skills to the Circle, and some of them left with the sweetest reward of all — a knockout victory.

Without further ado, here are the best Muay Thai and kickboxing finishes from this past April to June in The Home Of Martial Arts.

Honorable Mention: Holzken Blasts Through Parr

Striking legends Nieky “The Natural” Holzken and John Wayne “The Gunslinger” Parr duked it out in a fascinating Muay Thai clash at ONE on TNT III,” and it was the Dutchman who left with the epic victory.

Although the Aussie hero never stopped firing at his younger foe, it was clear that his power could not match “The Natural’s.” Holzken dropped Parr for the first time with a spinning hook kick in round one, and he did so again with a thumping left hook in round two.

Shortly after “The Gunslinger” dragged himself off the canvas for the second time, the Helmond native dropped him once more to end the match.

That time, a sharp left high kick wrapped around the right side of Parr’s face, causing him to fall backward. It was enough for the referee, who stepped in to save the Australian from any further punishment.

#3 Todd Smashes Hogstad’s Liver

Atomweight kickboxing queen Janet “JT” Todd strengthened her case for another shot at the ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Title with her second win in “the art of eight limbs” this year.

Todd wants to own gold in both striking sports, and her finish over #3-ranked atomweight kickboxer Anne “Ninja” Line Hogstad at “ONE on TNT II” might have booked her the World Title challenge she craves.

The American standout dominated from the opening bell with a varied arsenal that left Hogstad struggling to land any offense. Then in round three, “JT” found the strike to end the contest.

The Norwegian threw a right kick that only found arms, and Todd’s reply was pinpoint accurate. The Boxing Works athlete stuck her jab in “Ninja Line’s” face and then smashed her left shin into her rival’s midsection.

That strike drilled into Hogstad’s liver and folded her to the canvas. Despite her best effort, the Norwegian was in no state to continue, and the referee waved off the battle.

#2 Tawanchai Dominates In Stunning Debut

After two thrilling rounds of action, Tawanchai PK.Saenchai Muaythaigym secured a massive debut win over Sean “Clubber” Clancy in the third frame at ONE: DANGAL.

The Thai star floored his foe in the opening stanza, but the durable Irishman never stopped coming forward. Clancy was happy to take Tawanchai’s thudding punches, kicks, and elbows in hopes of landing his own right hand, though he was usually picked off on the way in.

“Clubber” knew he had ground to make up in round three and pressed forward on his Thai adversary. Tawanchai kept his cool and never once looked flustered, instead scoring with kicks and elbows when Clancy was in range.

The Irishman dealt with a high left kick well, blocking and stepping in with punches, but when the PK.Saenchai Muaythaigym representative fired off another, “Clubber’s” timing was not as effective.

Clancy tried to lean back out of its path, but Tawanchai’s foot crashed straight into his chin, instantly incapacitating him on impact.

#1 Saemapetch Takes Out Kulabdam With Wicked Body Shot

Saemapetch Fairtex earned one of the biggest wins of his career when he dispatched “Left Meteorite” Kulabdam Sor. Jor. Piek Uthai in the first round of their main event tilt at ONE: FULL BLAST.

A lot was expected of the clash between the two Thai stars, but few predicted that Saemapetch would finish his countryman so spectacularly.

The Fairtex representative was rightfully wary of his rival’s power in the opening stages of their bantamweight Muay Thai contest, but once he got to grips with “Left Meteorite’s” timing, he put him away.

Kulabdam chopped in a hard low kick to Saemapetch’s lead thigh, and the Pattaya resident responded with a monstrous combination. Though his right hook missed the mark, the follow-up straight left to the body hit his foe’s gut like a cannonball.

The former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title challenger continued to throw as “Left Meteorite” started his descent. Another right hook narrowly missed, but a final knee jarred Kulabdam’s head before he slumped to the canvas.

It was clear that “Left Meteorite” would not make the count, and Saemapetch cemented his spot as the division’s top contender with a memorable KO.
