The 31-year-old Rio de Janeiro, Brazil native uncorked a monstrous superman punch that had his opponent on wobbly legs midway through the third round. “Leo” then immediately hit a double-leg takedown, and finished off his Russian adversary with a relentless torrent of right hands.

With the impressive victory, Ataides finds himself on a three-bout win streak, and has earned a shot against reigning ONE Middleweight World Champion Aung La “The Burmese Python” N Sang some time in the future.

Multi-time Lumpinee Stadium World Champion Sam-A Gaiyanghadao has made an instant impact in ONE Super Series, and at 34 years of age, he has proven to be as dominant as ever.

The Singapore-based Thai knocked out Dutch-Surinamese kickboxer Sergio “Samurai” Wielzen at ONE: UNSTOPPABLE DREAMS to capture the inaugural ONE Super Series Muay Thai Flyweight World Championship.

It was a competitive bout, but Sam-A turned up the heat in the fourth round.

After sending Wielzen to the canvas with a left elbow, the living legend continued to batter his opponent with kicks, punches, and more elbows. Then, with 30 seconds left in the stanza, Sam-A rattled his rival with an uppercut elbow, and then finished the sequence with a left and right elbow combination to put Wielzen down for the count.

Singaporean Muay Thai Champion Amir Khan restarted his journey back to the lightweight world title picture in grand fashion at ONE: UNSTOPPABLE DREAMS.

The 23-year-old overcame a spirited performance from South Korea’s Sung Jong Lee, and knocked out the NAGA No-Gi Grappling Champion to extend his ONE Championship record for most knockouts to eight.

Lee did his best to goad Khan into a grappling battle, and even went for one of his signature heel hooks in the second round. The young lion escaped the submission, however, and immediately pounced on Lee. He unloaded a barrage of right hands and drove his knee into Lee’s midsection, causing referee Yuji Shimada to stop the contest at 3:39 of round two.

Not only did Khan win the match, but it was awarded “Best Finish Of The Night,” too.
