Anderson “Braddock” Silva needed just 74 seconds to finish Andre “The Giant” Meunier in his promotional debut at ONE: ROOTS OF HONOR.

The hulking Australian lunged at Silva with trademark heavyweight aggression, but the Brazilian veteran used his experience to remain composed and look for an opening to counter.

When “The Giant” jumped in with a looping left hook, “Braddock” deftly stepped back and then countered with a chopping right hand to the temple to score an instant knockout and send Meunier crashing face-first onto the canvas.

Yodpanomrung “The Lightning Knee” Jitmuangnon lived up to his moniker with a spectacular stoppage over Australia’s Tyler Hardcastle at ONE: FOR HONOR.

The six-time Muay Thai World Champion overcame Hardcastle’s boxing output by working in the clinch, and he landed more elbows and knees as the bout wore on.

In the final frame, Yodpanomrung forced his man back to the ropes with a jab, and then stepped through with a rib-crunching right knee that dropped Hardcastle to the canvas and kept him down for the count.

“Smokin” Jo Nattawut booked his place in the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix semifinals with a dominant showing over Sasha Moisa at ONE: ENTER THE DRAGON.

Nattawut slowly built up the pressure over the course of three rounds as he used his fierce boxing combinations and hard low kicks.

In the third, he dialed the intensity up even further. He dropped Moisa with a perfectly-timed overhand right, and then a flurry of hooks and uppercuts punctuated with a straight right felled him for the second time.

With his opponent clearly on his last legs, “Smokin” Jo swarmed him with punches, which left the referee no choice but to step in and halt the contest.

Han Zi Hao was keen to grab a win in front of his Chinese fans in Shanghai, and he got his wish with a second-round finish of Andrew “Maddog Fairtex” Miller.

The 23-year-old picked up the pace in the second stanza of their contest at ONE: LEGENDARY QUEST in Shanghai, China, and first dropped the Scottish athlete with a superman jab in the opening moments of the round.

This gave the Mad Muay Thai Gym athlete more confidence, and he attacked with hard punches in search of a finish. A big right hand sent Miller stumbling backward into a corner, and a rapid-fire salvo kept him fenced in. Han then let rip with a left hand followed by a right hook behind the ear which put his rival down for the count.

“Muay Thai Boy” Zhang Chenglong wanted to solidify his position as one of the bantamweight kickboxing division’s top contenders by scoring a knockout at ONE: LEGENDARY QUEST, and he managed it in under two minutes.

Hardcastle was willing to go toe-to-toe with the Chinese athlete, but he quickly found out that it was not a wise idea.

Zhang walked his foe to the ropes and then faked with a left hand. This opened up the Australian’s defenses and allowed “Muay Thai Boy’s” lead hand screw shot to come up through the guard. It landed directly on Hardcastle’s chin and knocked him out cold.
