It has been an incredible 2019 for the heroes of ONE Championship.

The world-class athletes who have competed in The Home Of Martial Arts this past year delivered excellence inside the Circle.

Also, they have inspired their fans, their teammates, and their home countries to achieve greatness.

As we prepare to say goodbye to 2019 and ring in a brand new year, the stars reveal their wishes for 2020.

Adriano Moraes

ONE Flyweight World Champion Adriano Moraes raises his belt

“I wish all the fighters in ONE good health and success, and to celebrate one more year with the best organization in the world. I feel honored to be the ONE Flyweight World Champion, and I hope 2020 is going to be great for all of us.”

Xiong Jing Nan

My goal for 2020 is to find my disadvantages in each fight, to keep training, and to focus on [strengthening] my weaknesses. I want to become a better fighter. I am always eager to learn and to improve myself.

“For every match I will be a participant in, I hope I can win with no injuries. Also, I want to see myself making progress, challenge in different fields, and practice different skills. I want to be on another level. It might sound difficult in the beginning, but I will try.”

Eduard Folayang

“I think reaching for a World Title is still a goal. After all, why would I want to win if I wasn’t looking to challenge for the World Title? I understand that I need to work my way back up again, but I want to prepare myself to have the best year of my life in the upcoming year.

“[Also], I think it’s to be a better human being. Like I said, I still have a lot of lapses and developed habits that are not really good. As much as possible, that’s what I’m aiming to improve in the upcoming year. It won’t make me perfect, but it would help me achieve my goal.”

Jihin Radzuan

“My hope for the world in 2020 is for people to be able to make decisions based on logic instead of emotions. Logical people will always be better than emotional ones, which will lead to better understanding and lesser conflicts worldwide.

“Inside the Circle, my wish is to compete regularly in 2020. I want to win all my fights, and be able to place myself as a top three contender once again.”

Stefer Rahardian

“It is not only my personal wish, but I am certain that all Indonesian people want a World Champion rising from the country. Also, I feel there will be a surge in my career next year.”
