After 15 minutes of breathless action, ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon got his hand raised against Petchdam “The Baby Shark” Petchyindee Academy in the night’s main event.

During the contest, Rodtang successfully drew the challenger into his style of fight. “The Iron Man” came forward with constant, methodical pressure before exploding into quick, powerful combinations.

The World Champion rattled Petchdam late in the second, although the Petchyindee Academy star regained his wits.

Still, the volume picked up as the bout went on, and the Jitmuangnon Gym representative took control. While “The Baby Shark” did enough to remain a threat, “The Iron Man” found his mark more and more – allowing him to retain the crown.

The performance was another display of brilliance from Rodtang, who continued his undefeated streak in The Home Of Martial Arts.

Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy deflected the power of “The Boxing Computer” Yodsanklai IWE Fairtex en route to a majority decision win that saw him keep the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Championship.

Yodsanklai came out strong with forward movement and unleashed his signature uppercuts, but the titleholder’s defense allowed him to withstand the pressure.

The Petchyindee Academy standout answered with crisp counterstrikes. His jab played a key role in stymying Yodsanklai’s movements, and he utilized catch-and-counters when the veteran attempted leg kicks. As the bout wore on, Petchmorakot got looser and connected more frequently.

While “The Boxing Computer” came prepared, Petchmorakot was just a little sharper in executing his strategy and, as a result, added the legend’s name to his list of conquests.

With the win, the younger star also cemented his status as the best featherweight Muay Thai striker on the planet.

ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Stamp Fairtex delivered a powerful statement against Sunisa “Thunderstorm” Srisen while pushing her mixed martial arts record to 5-0.

The Thai superstar exerted her dominance early in the contest, as she pelted the debuting athlete’s body with knees. And soon after, the Fairtex representative took the bout to the canvas and closed the door.

Stamp advanced to Srisen’s back and unloaded repeated left hands to her face. Before long, the referee had seen too many unanswered blows and stepped in to call an end at 3:59 of the first round.

But while her record in the sport is perfect and she dominated yet another opponent, don’t expect Stamp to make a big jump up ONE’s mixed martial arts Athlete Rankings just yet.

After the fight, she told ONEFC.com: “I feel that I need more experience to get into the top five. The atomweight class has a lot of talent. I still need to improve my ground game [before I] face the top five ranked contenders.”

The highly-anticipated trilogy bout between debuting striking stars Superbon and Sitthichai “Killer Kid” Sitsongpeenong lived up to the hype. Fans were treated to three closely-contested rounds, as each fighter showcased their elite techniques.

While Sitthichai showed himself well with stiff kicks and his trademark step-through knee, Superbon beat him on the scorecards by landing cleaner strikes throughout three rounds of work.

If Sitthichai came forward or threw combinations, accurate counterpunches from Superbon would find their mark. And at range, the victor’s thudding kicks scored to the body of his Thai rival. It was not a contest of volume, but rather a display of accuracy that won the day.

The victory will surely prove pivotal, as Superbon’s impressive debut puts him in the discussion for the vacant ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Championship – should such a title be created in the future.
