Former ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Sam-A Gaiyanghadao made his strawweight debut at ONE: CENTURY PART I, and though he was leaner, he lost none of his power.
Against Daren Rolland, the Thai legend stayed composed as the Frenchman charged forward with a hook-cross combination, and made him pay for overcommitting to his strikes.
Sam-A took half a step backward and dropped a hard left hand onto the chin of his oncoming opponent that dropped him to the canvas to halt the contest in the second round.
#2 Wang Blasts Roma With Powerful Punches
“Golden Boy” Wang Junguang exploded into the world’s largest martial arts organization with a first-round demolition of Federico “The Little Big Man” Roma at ONE: DAWN OF VALOR.
The Chinese athlete first wobbled his Argentinian foe with a hard left hook, and then sent him down with a flurry of punches. When “The Little Big Man” got back to his feet, it was not long before Wang decked him again with a straight right.
Though Roma valiantly found his feet once more, a final flurry against the fence was all it took for the referee to wave off the bout.
“Golden Boy” will face off against Sam-A for the inaugural ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Championship in KL.
#3 Ramazanov’s Record-Breaking Uppercut
One of the most memorable finishes in The Home Of Martial Arts came courtesy of Alaverdi “Babyface Killer” Ramazanov at ONE: HEART OF THE LION last November.
The Russian warrior needed just 57 seconds to finish Andrew “Maddog Fairtex” Miller with a crunching uppercut and score the fastest finish in ONE Super Series history at the time.
The Scotsman moved in toward “Babyface Killer” to look for an opening, but his opponent did not take the bait. Ramazanov feinted with a right knee and fired a three-strike combination that ended with a right uppercut that landed on the button and ended the bout instantly.
#4 Zhang Flies In To Finish

“Muay Thai Boy” Zhang Chenglong thrilled his Chinese fans with a stunning finish over Tyler Hardcastle at ONE: LEGENDARY QUEST in Shanghai.
The Shengli Fight Club man burst forward from the outside to take his Australian rival by surprise. He darted in with a thunderous right uppercut that corkscrewed its way onto Hardcastle’s chin, and sent him face-first onto the mat.
Zhang went 3-0 in The Home Of Martial Arts with the first-round finish, and earned a spot in the inaugural ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Title match-up against Ramazanov next Friday.
#5 “Braddock’s” Boxing Barrage
In a fast and furious light heavyweight tilt, Brazil’s Anderson “Braddock” Silva finished Beybulat Isaev with a volley of strikes in the opening frame at ONE: IMMORTAL TRIUMPH.
The Russian first buckled when he was struck with a right hand, and “Braddock” knew he has his man hurt. He stayed on him with heavy punches and knees that forced Isaev to clinch to try and slow down the assault.
However, it offered Silva the chance to use his close-range power as he landed two chopping right hands, and then a final uppercut through the middle to end the match.
The exciting Brazilian will be back in action against Andrei “Mister KO” Stoica at ONE: MARK OF GREATNESS.
