Joshua “The Passion” Pacio’s unique finish of Pongsiri “The Smiling Assassin” Mitsatit has been watched millions of times by fans around the world, but it has still never been replicated.
The Team Lakay man unveiled his “Passion Lock” at ONE: REIGN OF KINGS in July 2018 after he had dominated his Thai rival for almost every second of the first round. Pacio took Mitsatit’s back and tried to secure a rear-naked choke at first, but “The Smiling Assassin” defended well.
“The Passion” then switched his offense, trapped his foe’s left arm, and then advanced to a two-on-one grip, which he used to contort Mitsatit’s arm up his back, and force a quick tap from a technique no one saw coming.
#2 Silva Catches Suzuki With Signature Submission
A spectacular submission win that secured him a shot at the ONE Strawweight World Title. The rest is history.

In a battle of elite grapplers, Alex “Little Rock” Silva showed his black-belt, World Championship-winning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu skills against Hayato Suzuki to end the Japanese athlete’s 19-bout winning streak with a slick armbar.
In the first round of their bout at ONE: LEGENDS OF THE WORLD in November 2017, Silva found himself beneath his opponent, but he immediately used his butterfly guard to elevate Suzuki and start his first attack.
“Little Rock” went after the Takahagi City native’s left arm first, but then rolled to mount and quickly switched his focus to the right arm. He dropped his shin across Suzuki’s head to apply pressure and rolled to secure the finish with what has become a trademark technique.
The former ONE Strawweight World Champion will challenge for the belt once again – this time against Pacio in Manila.

It was one-way traffic from the opening bell of Danny “The King” Kingad’s match with Eugene Toquero at the aptly-titled ONE: AGE OF DOMINATION in December 2016.
Kingad took his countryman to the canvas early and dictated the pace from side control. He waited until Toquero tried to escape and, with a strong underhook on his rival’s right arm, the Team Lakay star quickly stepped over his head to isolate the limb and finish with an armbar.
Kingad is set to face ONE Warrior Series graduate, “The Hunter” Xie Wei in front of the Filipino faithful at ONE: FIRE & FURY.

Tatsumitsu “The Sweeper” Wada moved at remarkable speed to finish Eugene Toquero with a rear-naked choke at ONE: WARRIOR’S DREAM in November 2018.
The DEEP Flyweight World Champion capitalized on Toquero’s aggressive striking and took his back after he swung with a big left hook. Wada jumped on and put his hooks in, and then locked in the suffocating strangle as they fell to the mat.
The tap came almost instantly. It took just 52 seconds for Wada to claim his first win on the global stage.
The 31-year-old from Tokyo will welcome Ivanildo “Monstrinho” Delfino to the Circle on 31 January.

In a moment that defined Jenny “Lady GoGo” Huang’s career, the judo black belt earned her nickname with a rare submission over April Osenio at ONE: AGE OF DOMINATION.
Huang attacked the Filipina with various submissions, but the finish came when Osenio muscled her way into top position in the second stanza. The Chinese athlete quickly worked her guard up high, and then showed remarkable flexibility to bring her right leg over Osenio’s shoulder.
Huang worked her shin underneath her opponent’s chin, and then pulled on the back of the Team Lakay product’s head to force her to concede defeat.
Huang will aim to get back to winning ways against Jomary “The Zamboanginian Fighter” Torres at the Mall Of Asia Arena.
