Indonesian National Muay Thai Champion Dodi Mardian started training in wushu sanda at a very early age, and went on to compete for the Indonesian national team in both sanda and Muay Thai. He found the most success in Muay Thai, where he racked up a near-perfect 12-1 record while winning multiple tournaments.
Originally from Bandung, the capital of Indonesia’s West Java province, Mardian moved to the national capital of Jakarta for better job opportunities. There, he has trained with many former and current ONE athletes, so is fully prepared to show his skills on the global stage of ONE Championship.
Taking the nickname of “Maung,” which means “tiger” in his native language, Mardian looks to properly represent his Sundanese heritage, and to compete with the spirit of a tiger in search of international glory.
