जॉन “द ब्लेड” चांग

Multiple-time National Kickboxing Champion John Chang hails from Chinese Taiwan, and began training for triathlons at a very early age. He is known for his physical conditioning and stamina, and he put those traits to good use when he transitioned to martial arts, first taking up taekwondo and then sanda.

In 2007, he won the Sanda King Tournament, as well as the K-1 Taiwan Championship two years later, establishing himself as one of the top strikers in the country. The latter title was all the more impressive, given he faced several top contenders from heavier weight classes, but still prevailed. More recently, he was crowned sanda champion at the National Games in Taipei.

Chang made a successful professional mixed martial debut earlier in his career, but decided to focus on kickboxing instead, and took a hiatus from the cage. However, he is now making a comeback, and is determined to achieve international success in the ONE Championship cage.
